Kilndown Education Trust is a charity formed in 1994 after the closure of Kilndown Primary School. The Trust has funds available for young people up to the age of 25 living in the parish of Kilndown who might benefit from financial support for any aspect of their education. Grants are not means-tested. 
In recent years grants have been awarded to individuals for university textbooks, music lessons, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, extra sessions at Little Squirrels and extracurricular educational activities, including classes run by Kent Adult Education in the Village Hall.
